The argument in favor of using filler text goes something like this: If you use any real content in the Consulting Process anytime you reach.

Someone searching for a specialist service is rarely in the mood for a long read. They arrive with a specific problem, usually on a phone, often in a hurry, and they scan the page for the two or three details that tell them whether you are the right fit. If those details are buried halfway down a dense block of prose, they will go back to the search results and try the next business. Structuring your service pages for scanning is not dumbing anything down. It is a recognition that your visitor is trying to make a decision, and your job is to help them make it quickly.
Most people who land on a service page do not read it from top to bottom. They jump from heading to heading, looking for a reason to stay or a reason to leave. That means your page needs to work in two layers: a quick scan that answers the obvious questions, and a slower read for the people who are nearly ready to get in touch.
The quick scan usually covers four things:
If a visitor can answer all four within about fifteen seconds of landing, they are far more likely to keep reading and far less likely to hit the back button.
Subheadings do most of the heavy lifting on a scannable page. Vague labels such as "Our Approach" or "Why Choose Us" tell the reader nothing and give search engines very little to work with. Specific ones do both jobs at once.
Compare these pairs:
Notice that each one contains a concrete detail: a location, a number, a qualification, a time frame. That is the whole trick. A subheading should read like a useful answer, not a chapter title.
Three or four sentences per paragraph is plenty. On a phone, a paragraph longer than that becomes a grey wall, and most readers will skip past it entirely.
Try to put the most valuable information at the start of the paragraph rather than the end. "We can usually attend within four hours of your call" is a stronger opening line than a sentence that builds up to the same fact. Your visitor may only read the first few words, so make those words count.
Also resist the urge to explain your whole history in the introduction. Lead with the service and the outcome. Background, credentials and philosophy can come further down the page, where the readers who care will find them.
Niche services often involve lists of things: equipment, certifications, locations covered, materials, tasks included in a standard visit. Prose is a poor container for that sort of information.
Bullet lists work well when you are listing:
Keep each bullet to roughly one line. If a bullet needs three sentences, it probably deserves its own short paragraph underneath a new subheading instead.
A page without a clear next step wastes all the effort you put into the rest of it. "Contact us" is weak because it asks the visitor to decide how. Be precise about what happens when they click or call.
Place your main call to action near the top for ready buyers and repeat it at the end of each major section for those who needed convincing. If your service covers several regions or client types, tailor the wording so it feels written for the person reading it rather than copied and pasted across the site.
Most specialist searches now happen on mobile, so check the page on a small screen and look at it honestly. Are your subheadings doing the work, or do you have to scroll through paragraphs to find anything useful? Are the bullet lists breaking awkwardly? Is the phone number tappable?
Read it aloud and time yourself. If you cannot find the price, the coverage area and the next step within half a minute, tidy the structure before you worry about anything else. A page that is easy to scan will keep more visitors, hold their attention longer and give search engines a clearer picture of what you offer and who it is for.
